Spring 2012 Initiates

Dear Alumni Sig Brothers,

I'm pleased to report that on Saturday April 7th, the Zeta Omicron Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity initiated 13 new brothers. Sadly NO ZO Alumni were present with exception of Brother Gregg Caughran and myself. That is unfortunate considering this was without a doubt the best initiation undertaken by the Zeta Omicron chapter in a long time. All the undergraduate brothers did an exceptional job performing the roles assigned them in our proud and sacred ceremony. I recently witnessed the Kappa Phi Chapter's initiation at Embry-Riddle University. I honestly didn't think any chapter could be as good but I'm proud to see Zeta Omicron was superb. My thanks as always to my Assistant Chapter Advisor for Ritual/Pledgeship Gregg Caughran for his hard work in helping these young pledges become Sigma Chi's along with his key role in supervising every element of the initiation ceremony itself. Special thanks goes out to outgoing ZO undergraduate Consul Christian Walker who did a spectacular job at initiation and a terrific job as leader of this chapter during the past school year. I'd also like to recognize our Magister and Consul-elect Kyle Godwin for all his hard work with the spring pledge class. I'm so proud of Kyle and excited to see him become Consul. Our chapter is in good hands.  Also, my thanks to brother Josh Petchel, our Kustos who really helped make our initiation at Northern Arizona University incredibly special.

I sincerely hope our ZO alums will visit our undergraduate brothers whenever they're in Flagstaff. It means so much to our guys. You alumni are our legacies.
